Terms & Conditions I Say Yes Salon & Spa®

Welcome to I Say Yes Salon & Spa®. We are honored that you have chosen us to care for your beauty, hair, and wellness needs. These Terms & Conditions are designed to create a luxury experience built on professionalism, respect, communication, and trust. By scheduling an appointment, purchasing products, using our website, or receiving services, you agree to the following terms.

Our Commitment to You

At I Say Yes Salon & Spa®, we believe beauty is more than a service; it is an experience. Every appointment is personalized, every consultation is intentional, and every guest deserves to feel valued, respected, and cared for.

Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service while protecting the time, expertise, and investment of both our guests and our salon.

Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled:

  • Online
  • By telephone
  • By email

Appointments are reserved exclusively for you. Because we operate in a private salon suite, each appointment time is dedicated to one or two guests.

Consultation Requirement

All Clients will receive a Complimentary Scalp & Hair Consultation before booking.

Consultations help us determine:

  • Your hair goals
  • Hair history
  • Current hair and scalp condition
  • Time required
  • Estimated investment
  • Maintenance expectations

All services, including corrective color, hair restoration, extensions, bridal services, and certain chemical services, cannot be accurately priced without a consultation.

Pricing

After your consultation, the Final pricing may vary based on:

  • Hair length
  • Hair density
  • Time required
  • Product usage
  • Service complexity
  • Corrective work
  • Additional treatments requested

Your stylist will review pricing before beginning your service whenever possible.

Retainers & Deposits

Certain appointments require a retainer to reserve your appointment.

Retainers:

  • Secure your appointment time.
  • Are applied toward your final balance.
  • Are subject to our Appointment and Cancellation Policy.
  • May be forfeited for late cancellations or no-shows, except in approved emergency situations.

Cancellation Policy

We respectfully request advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Late cancellations and missed appointments impact our ability to serve other guests and operate efficiently.

Please refer to our Appointment Policy for complete cancellation guidelines. It will be emailed to you after your appointment is booked, along with your reminder letter.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

Guests arriving late may experience:

  • A shortened service
  • Modification of the scheduled service
  • The need to reschedule
  • Applicable late or cancellation fees

Our goal is to remain on schedule out of respect for every guest.

No-Show Policy

Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled appointment and do not provide notice may:

  • Forfeit their retainer
  • Be required to prepay for future appointments
  • Lose online booking privileges

Repeated no-shows may result in the refusal of future appointments.

Service Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is important to us.

If you have concerns about your service, please notify us within 7 days so we may evaluate the situation.

Corrective services may be offered after an in-person consultation, when appropriate.

Refunds are not provided for completed salon services.

Retail Products

Professional products are selected to support healthy hair and scalp care.

Returns are governed by our Refund & Return Policy.

Gift Cards

Gift cards:

  • Have no cash value unless required by law.
  • Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • May not be refundable.

Health & Safety

To protect the health of all guests and staff, we ask clients to notify us before their appointment if they have:

  • Contagious illnesses
  • Active scalp infections
  • Head lice
  • Open wounds
  • Allergic reactions
  • Recent medical procedures affecting hair or skin

For safety reasons, we reserve the right to postpone services when appropriate.

Allergies & Medical Conditions

Clients are responsible for informing us of:

  • Allergies
  • Pregnancy
  • Medications
  • Medical conditions
  • Previous chemical reactions
  • Hair restoration treatments
  • Recent surgeries affecting the scalp or skin

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect service outcomes.

Hair Color & Chemical Services

Chemical services involve variables beyond our control.

While we use professional products and techniques, results may vary based on:

  • Previous color history
  • Home care
  • Medication
  • Hair condition
  • Chemical history
  • Hair integrity

Multiple appointments may be necessary to safely achieve desired results.

Photography & Marketing

With your permission, we may photograph or record your completed service for:

  • Our website
  • Social media
  • Educational purposes
  • Marketing materials
  • Professional portfolio

We will never use your image without your consent.

Guests may decline photography at any time.

Website Use

By using our website, you agree to:

  • Use the site for lawful purposes only.

Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide exceptional professional services, I Say Yes Salon & Spa® is not liable for outcomes resulting from:

  • Failure to follow aftercare instructions
  • Undisclosed medical conditions
  • Allergic reactions not previously disclosed
  • Services performed by another provider after your appointment
  • Misuse of retail products
  • Normal variations in hair texture, color retention, or styling longevity

Children's Policy

We welcome young guests receiving scheduled services.

For the safety and comfort of all guests, children who are not receiving services are not allowed in the salon suite.

Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.

I Say Yes Salon & Spa® is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service when:

  • Expectations cannot be met safely or reasonably.
  • Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior occurs.
  • Health or sanitation concerns exist.
  • Policies are repeatedly violated.
  • Fraudulent payment or booking activity is suspected.

Our priority is maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment for every guest.
